Eagle Pd Acculinear STANDARD Construction
Eagle Pd Acculinear Belts are manufactured to high tolerances - the product
delivers reliability and excellent dimensional stability. The thermoplastic
polyurethane gives superior wear and abrasion resistance. Various grades of
steel cord offer good belt design characteristics, even with high tensile
loads. The addition of a Nylon coating on the tooth and/or on the back of
the belt during production, enhances the running properties for specific
applications. Additional backing materials are
available on special order. These backings offer extra protection against
specific operating conditions and loads.
The tooth and backing material is white thermoplastic polyurethane,
which gives superior wear and abrasion resistance.
The tension member is high tensile steel, which offers excellent
dimensional stability for accurate positioning and less maintenance.
The tooth facing is a durable silver-grey nylon fabric, that reduces
noise and provides wear and abrasion protection.
Eagle Pd Acculinear is available in two configurations: OPEN-END and
SPLICED.
Eagle Pd Acculinear OPEN-END Configuration
The Eagle Pd Acculinear open-end belt is produced in length with the tension members lying parallel to the belt edge. Hence, all loads are shared equally across the tension members. A common application of open-end belts is in linear motion drives.
Standard roll length is 100 meters. Other lengths are available on request.
Eagle Pd Acculinear SPLICED Configuration
Lengths of open-end Eagle Pd Acculinear can be spliced to obtain any
continuous length of endless Eagle Pd Acculinear belt. These spliced
endless belts are primarily used in conveying applications, where longer
belt lengths are required.
